RAISING THE STAFF : STRAIGHT-ARM WRIST GRAB

Defense A:

  1. Step forward with right foot as right hand counter grabs wrist from underneath and raises hand high above your head.
  2. Drive right elbow down along arm and into the nerve groups in arm pit, while striking forward with a left tigers jaw to throat.
  3. Rip down with tigers jaw on throat into low solid horse as you are driving the elbow down.

Defense B:

  1. Step forward with right foot as right hand counter grabs wrist from underneath and raises hand high above your head.
  2. Drive right elbow down along arm and into the nerve groups in arm pit, while striking forward with a left tigers jaw to throat.
  3. Rip down with tigers jaw on throat into low solid horse as you are driving the elbow down.
